2 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Robbie Anderson replied to an Instagram post in April that mentioned the Panthers as the most likely landing spot for quarterback Baker Mayfield by saying, "Noooo." Anderson said he was defending Sam Darnold and "trying to be a good teammate to my quarterback." After Carolina traded for Mayfield last week, the pass-catcher posted: "I don't have an issue with Baker stop tryna paint that narrative." It probably won't really affect Anderson's relationship with Mayfield as his new QB, but it's something to note. The 29-year-old really struggled with Darnold in 2021, catching 53 of 110 targets for 519 yards and five touchdowns a year after posting his first 1,000-yard season. Anderson could bounce back with Mayfield under center, but he'll be considered more of a WR5/6 in deeper leagues after a rough 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
