6 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Robbie Erlin will start on Monday after Jordan Lyles replaced Joey Lucchesi in the rotation. Lucchesi went down with a hip strain last Tuesday and still is not eligible to return, so in the meantime, Lyles will take his place on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. This ultimately leaves Robbie Erlin to start on Monday against the Washington Nationals. Erlin has only made one start this year and is currently rocking a 3.60 ERA in 25 innings of work, however, will be facing a star-studded Nationals lineup and should not be streamed.--Caden Inaba
