2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielders Robbie Grossman (neck) and Victor Reyes (quadriceps) could start minor league rehab assignments early next week. Grossman has been on the injured list for around a week, and he could rejoin the Tigers at some point next week, barring any setbacks on his rehab assignment. The 32-year-old switch-hitter just hasn't been able to get off the ground in 141 at-bats this year, as he's hitting just .199/.311/.241 with no home runs, 10 RBI, 13 runs scored and two stolen bases in 42 games. Reyes went on the IL on May 16 with a right quadriceps strain. The 27-year-old was hitting .292/.346/.458 with an .804 OPS, no home runs, four RBI and one run scored in 11 games before his injury, and he should return to at least semi-regular playing time when he's reinstated.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
