Robbie Ray Allows One Run In Win
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray allowed one run over six innings on Wednesday as his club defeated the Red Sox 4-1. The lefty surrendered three walks and five hits while punching out eight batters in the 108-pitch outing, helping him earn his ninth win of the campaign. It was a solid bounce-back game for Ray who allowed four runs in five frames to Boston in his last outing as he lowers his ERA to 3.04 on the year. He'll face an easier matchup on paper in his next scheduled outing versus the Indians in what will be his first start at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
