Robbie Ray Allows Six Runs Across Three Innings
2 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Robbie Ray only lasted three innings in the 8-5 loss against the Houston Astros after giving up six runs on 10 hits, including two home runs. He also struck out just one batter but didn't allow a walk. Over 20 starts, Ray is 8-7 with a 3.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 27.9% strikeout rate. The left-hander isn't a Cy Young contender like last season, but he's posted respectable numbers in each category, making him a likely must-start in every format.
