3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray took the loss on Wednesday after allowing four runs in five innings to the Red Sox. Three of the five hits he surrendered left the ballpark to account for all his runs allowed as he struck out four and walked one in the outing. Tonight's effort marked the first time Ray has given up more than three runs in a start dating back to May 27 as he currently holds a sparkling 3.12 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 19 games. The lefty's incredible 142/27 K/BB has a lot to do with his resurgence this season as he looks ahead to his next start in a rematch against Boston.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
