Robbie Ray Hit Hard In Loss Wednesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners left-hander Robbie Ray gave up six runs and 10 hits while walking four and striking out four in 6 1/3 innings in a loss on Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox. Ray was solid in his season debut on April 8 against the Minnesota Twins, giving up just one earned run while walking four and striking out five in seven innings in his first win of the season. The southpaw allowed three home runs on Wednesday night to a strong White Sox lineup. Ray has struck out nine hitters in his first 13 1/3 innings of work with Seattle, and he's tentatively scheduled to toe the rubber next Tuesday at home against the Texas Rangers.
