4 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Robbie Ray (bruised elbow) was officially placed on the injured list. He fell at his home earlier this spring and hasn't appeared in a game since March 19. Ray was having an excellent spring for the Jays with just six hits allowed in 13.2 innings. He also had a K-BB of 18-5. The lefty has shown improved control since joining the club from the Arizona Diamondbacks last season and he was expected to be the Jays' second starter behind Hyun-Jin Ryu. He's two years removed from striking out 235 hitters. Ray's spot will now be filled by T.J. Zeuch. The Blue Jays are also expected to announce the addition of two more arms to the 26-man roster later today.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
