4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray kept his strong start to the 2021 season going versus the Braves on Tuesday, striking out 10 in the team's 5-3 victory. The southpaw allowed three runs on five hits and one walk in the 99-pitch effort as he unfortunately settled for the no-decision. Ray had gone three-straight games without issuing a free pass, but we'll certainly take just the one freebie tonight after he's struggled with control for most of his career. His improved command has come at the expense of some strikeouts with 39 K through 34 2/3 IP, but it's a sacrifice he'll make with his refined ratios. He'll take a 3.38 ERA and 1.13 WHIP into his next scheduled contest versus the Phillies in Dunedin this weekend.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
