3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray had a strong start versus the Marlins on Tuesday, striking out nine for his third win of the season. He allowed one run on six hits and a pair of walks in the 96-pitch effort, throwing 64 of them for strikes. Ray has impressed this year by setting a career-low walk rate (6.3% BB%) while still maintaining a superb strikeout rate (29.0% K%). The lefty has had some issues with the long ball, but it's been an overall bounce-back season as he carries a respectable 3.57 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next start versus the White Sox.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
