5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray allowed four earned runs, six hits and three walks with five strikeouts over four innings in a road loss against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. He threw just 56 of his 83 pitches for strikes. After starting out 4-1 with a 3.26 ERA across his first 11 starts, Ray has lost five of his past six decisions, going 1-5 with a 5.31 ERA across the past seven starts. He'll look to right the ship on Saturday against the visiting Colorado Rockies. He is 1-1 with a 4.41 ERA across 16 1/3 innings in three outings against Colorado this season.--Daniel Dobish
