Robert Woods Opens Season As WR1

2 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods looks to be Ryan Tannehill's No. 1 option in the passing game early on in 2022. Treylon Burks had an up-and-down preseason campaign and is currently listed behind Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on the Titans' depth chart. Woods will face off with the New York Giants in his first game with Tennessee. New York was a middle-of-the-pack team against fantasy wideouts last year, so the matchup isn't concerning. In PPR leagues with multiple flex spots, he's a solid option. Tennessee will likely look to ride Derrick Henry to victory, but Woods should lead the team in targets and is the only Titans' pass-catcher with immediate fantasy appeal.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
