Robert Woods Suffers Torn ACL
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) suffered a torn ACL in the team's practice on Friday and will miss the rest of the season, according to sources. Ironically, Woods' injury came on the same day that the team finalized their one-year deal with receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Woods was the Rams second leading receiver behind Cooper Kupp, catching 45 of his 69 targets for 556 yards and four touchdowns through nine games. It's a big blow to LA's offense, but hopefully Beckham and second-year wideout Van Jefferson will be able to pick up the slack. Tight end Tyler Higbee could have a bigger role moving forward as well. If Beckham still remains available in your league, he needs to be picked up immediately and could have a big role right away if he's active on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
