Roberto Perez Getting Evaluated For Head Injury
6 years agoCleveland Indians catcher Roberto Perez was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Athletics with an undisclosed head injury. He was 0-for-2 on the night and is getting further evaluated on his injury as a concussion is always in play for backstops. Perez has been hitting surprisingly well in the power department this season clubbing six homers and 14 RBI providing some value in two-catcher formats, but he doesn't offer much in single-catcher leagues. Expect the Indians to update his status later this evening as a call-up for prospect Eric Hasse could be looming.
