4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano hit third in the Mets lineup on Saturday against the Yankees. While manager Luis Rojas did not commit to Cano batting third going forward, he did intimate it was an option and that Cano should be featured in the middle of the batting order. Cano hit third 58 times in 107 games in 2019. This news would indicate that Cano may find himself regularly batting in the middle of a potent lineup, somewhere between Pete Alonso, Yoenis Cespedes, and Michael Conforto, in 2020. Such a spot in the Mets batting order would enhance Cano's fantasy value, including his potential run and RBI production. Cano is working his way back from quadriceps and hamstring issues that impacted him last season. If healthy, Cano is worth rostering in mixed leagues and NL-only formats as a low-draft capital or waiver wire option who can provide solid returns on investment.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
