Robinson Cano Continues His Hot Start To Season
4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, his first of the season, in the Mets' excruciating 11-10 loss to the Braves on Friday. Cano also drove in two runs in the Mets loss. On the season, Cano is now batting .360 in 25 at-bats, with a .429 on-base percentage and three RBI. Despite regularly hitting in the bottom third of the Mets lineup, Cano is making the most of his opportunity. Cano has worked his way back from quadriceps and hamstring issues that impacted him in 2019. Now showing signs that he is healthy and consistently hitting, Cano is worth rostering in mixed leagues and NL-only formats as a waiver wire option who can provide solid returns on investment.
