Robinson Cano Hits Two Homers And Drives In Four
4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano remained on fire on Monday hitting two home runs and driving in four runs in the Mets' 11-4 win over the Miami Marlins. Cano went 3-for-4 and also scored three runs. On the season, Cano is now hitting a blistering .412 in 51 at-bats with four home runs and 13 RBI. Cano, who recently returned from the injured list due to a groin issue, has wasted no time picking up right where he left off after a hot start in July. Despite somewhat of a log jam in the Mets' infield with J.D. Davis, Andres Gimenez, and Luis Guillorme all hitting well, the veteran Cano will likely remain a staple in the lineup. Owners should grab Cano in mixed and NL-only formats, if available, and ride this hot streak while it lasts. Whether he is positioned at second base or designated hitter by the Mets, Cano should retain season-long fantasy relevance hitting regularly in the middle of the Mets potent lineup.
