3 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano is expected to be back with the organization for the 2022 season. He was suspended for the entire 2021 season for breaking the MLB's drug policy for the second time. Despite that, Cano remains on the Mets payroll for the 2022 and 2023 season. He is owed $24 million annually, so he's expected to play, assuming he's healthy. Through 38 games of winter ball, Cano is hitting .295/.363//.389 with 31 RBI and 16 walks. He has played both DH and second base, which is likely what he'll do in New York, assuming universal DH is introduced in 2022.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
