4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano says he missed six days of Mets summer camp due to personal issues. Fortunately, it does not appear Cano missed camp due to issues related to health concerns, including the quadriceps and hamstring issues that limited him to just 107 games in 2019. The Mets will likely give Cano every opportunity to re-emerge as a productive bat in the middle of their potent lineup. Despite missing a number of days of camp, it appears Cano will be ready for action when the season opens. If, however, Cano is forced to miss time or delay the start of his season in order to ramp up baseball activities, Jeff McNeil could move over to second base, opening up regular playing time for J.D. Davis at third base. Notwithstanding, Cano is worth rostering in deep mixed leagues and in all NL-only formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
