Robinson Cano Off To Hot Start
7 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano went 2-for-3 with a single, double, one walk and a run scored as the Mariners edged the Indians 5-4. Cano now has six hits in his first 10 at-bats to start the young season and will need to keep up the pace with designated hitter Nelson Cruz dealing with a sprained ankle. Cano appears to be locked in to begin the year and is looking to rebound from a disappointing 2017 season. Cano will need to prove that he can regain the power of past seasons after slugging only .420 in the second half of last year. For now, Cano will be an excellent play in daily fantasy formats over the next few games.
