7 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano finished up his spring going 13-for-42 for a .406 batting average. For a veteran like Cano, getting through the preseason healthy is all that really matters. But Cano has been hitting the ball on the screws and looks to improve after a dismal second half to his 2017 season. He struggled with lower body injuries the entire second half of the season and it completely sapped his power. He finished the season with 25 home runs but hit only six after the All-Star break and his slugging percentage plummeted to .420. Cano is a professional hitter who can be counted on, but age is slowly catching up to him. He may not match his numbers of years past, but he still can he counted on for 15-25 home runs and 70-90 runs batted in with low strikeout totals.--Joey C - RotoBaller
