7 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano (hamstring) will undergo a precautionary MRI exam on Monday, but he doesn't think his hamstring injury is serious. While Cano may not miss more than a few days in camp, it's a reminder that at age 35, he's no longer a lock to stay healthy over a full season. Despite hitting a career-high 39 bombs in 2016, Cano fell back down to earth last year with 23 dingers and 97 RBI in 592 at-bats. He will still be productive in the average and RBI departments, but his modest home run totals and declining speed no longer make him an elite option at the keystone.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
