4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano went 3-for-4 in the Mets' 18-1 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. Cano also walked once, drove in a run, and scored a run in the rout. Cano has had a bounceback season in 2020 but had recently been struggling before his solid performance on Friday. Heading into Friday's game, Cano had been just 2-for-25 over his prior six games played. Despite the minor slump, with the performance on Friday, Cano is now batting .331/.364/.562 on the season with seven home runs and 20 RBI. Whether positioned at second base or designated hitter, the Mets will get Cano's bat into the lineup and he will retain fantasy relevance for the remainder of this short season.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
