2 years agoThe Colorado Rockies are reportedly set to hold onto starting pitchers Kyle Freeland, Antonio Senzatela, and German Marquez. This news comes on the heels of earlier news that the Rockies were extending closer Daniel Bard and not planning to trade first baseman C.J. Cron. The Rockies obviously think they are very close to competing and want to keep their top assets around. For Rockies fans, this news may sting a bit as just last season the Rockies kept Trevor Story around only for him to walk in free agency. Fortunately, all the players the Rockies are reportedly keeping this season are under contract at least through next year. For the three starters, this news means their fantasy value remains limited to streamer option only.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
