Rockies Reportedly Interested in Kris Bryant
3 years agoPer a tweet from MLB Network's Jon Heyman, the Colorado Rockies are reportedly interested in free-agent third baseman Kris Bryant. Bryant hit .265 with a .353 on-base percentage, 25 home runs, and 10 stolen bases in 586 plate appearances last season for the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants. Colorado's third baseman finished with a collective 72 wRC+ last season, the third-worst number in the league, so they could certainly use the help at the position. Ryan McMahon received the bulk of the starts at third base last season for the Rockies, but he can also play second base and first base.
