Rodrigo Blankenship Wins Colts Kicker Job
4 years agoRookie kicker Rodrigo Blankenship has beaten out Chase McLaughlin in the competition to be the kicker for the Indianapolis Colts. McLaughlin reportedly had a strong camp, but Blankenship's college resume helped him win the role, leading to the team releasing McLaughlin. Blankenship was a career 82.5 percent kicker in college and made all 200 of his extra points. He should be a solid fantasy kicker in 2020. Meanwhile, if McLaughlin lands a job, he can be a solid streaming option, but he also bounced around between three teams as a rookie and might not have much of a long term NFL future.
