Roman Quinn Fighting For Playing Time This Spring
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn hopes 2020 is the year he can stay healthy and battle for a starting job in the Phillies' outfield. Quinn, who is entering camp in a position battle with former first-round pick Adam Haseley, spent three different stints on the injured list last season. He changed his offseason routine with the hope of avoiding muscle strains and pulls so he can flash his potential at the MLB level. Fantasy managers would love to see Quinn get a shot with the scarcity of stolen bases in today's game. Quinn stole 30 or more bases every season from 2012-2016 as he worked his way from Low-A to Double-A and he was 8-for-8 in steal attempts in the Majors last season. He doesn't need to be drafted yet, but if Quinn looks like he'll get a starting role he could be a cheap steals source in deeper leagues.
