Roman Quinn Starting In Center Field For Phillies
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn will get the Opening Day start in center field vs Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins. Quinn and Adam Haseley were battling for the center field job back in Spring Training, and manager Joe Girardi has been mum on who would see more playing time since Summer Camp began. This is good news for the switch-hitting Quinn who gets the first start of the season vs a right-handed pitcher as opposed to the lefty Haseley. Batting ninth is not optimal for fantasy, but Quinn offers some sneaky stolen base upside if he is to be a regular in the lineup. The speedster stole 18 bases in 94 MLB games over the past two seasons so he's worth an add in deeper rotisserie leagues.
