Ronald Acuna Jr. Sitting Versus Mets In Game 1
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the New York Mets. Acuna came off the injured list to make his season debut last Thursday, and the Braves aren't going to overwork him after he tore his ACL last July. The 24-year-old superstar should be back in the lineup for the second game of the twin billing on Tuesday. He's recorded just three hits in his first 17 at-bats since returning last week, but he does have two stolen bases and remains a must-star whenever he's in the lineup. Travis Demeritte is in right field and is hitting eighth, while second baseman Ozzie Albies moves up to the leadoff spot for Game 1 against Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco.
