4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. again took batting practice prior to Sunday’s contest against Philadelphia, a strong indicator that he is nearing a return from the injured list. Acuna, who is battling wrist soreness, has not played since Aug. 10. Prior to hitting the IL, the MVP contender had begun to heat up offensively with three home runs in his last three games. Annihilating the ball at a 53.7 Hard Hit %, Acuna has proven himself to be an elite fantasy commodity again this year. Those in weekly lock formats can take the chance on Acuna returning Tuesday against the Yankees and right-hander Gerrit Cole.--Jesse Borek
