3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II has not lost playing time due to lackluster pass protection, according to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich. Dating back to the playoffs, Leonard Fournette has appeared to be the Buccaneers preferred starter, and he has certainly affirmed that to be the right choice in 2021. Jones looked more powerful than Fournette in 2020 leading some fantasy managers to favor the USC product in fantasy drafts. However, this season, Fournette looks significantly more shifty and simply better than Jones. The former second round selection cannot be started in fantasy leagues but should still be rostered in standard leagues for at least one more week. He can certainly be dropped in shallow leagues if needed.--Jordan Eisen
