Roquan Smith, Robert Quinn Report To Training Camp
2 years agoChicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith and pass-rusher Robert Quinn both reported to training camp on Tuesday, according to a source. Smith, however, isn't scheduled to take part in workouts because of his contract situation. Quinn, who had 18.5 sacks in 2021, skipped June's mandatory minicamp and is due $12.9 million this season. There was speculation that the Bears might trade Quinn after he was a no-show at minicamp last month, but the fact that he isn't holding out of training camp is a good sign that he'll stick with Chicago in 2022. The 32-year-old former first-rounder is coming off his third Pro Bowl selection, but he also had just two sacks in 15 games in his first year in Chicago in 2020.
