3 years agoRoss Chastain finished in the top three at Las Vegas last week while leading 83 laps. This week, Chastain did one place better holding of Tyler Reddick to finish second at Phoenix Raceway. The No. 1 Chevy was outside the top ten after Stage 1, vaulted to seventh after Stage 2, and then nearly won the whole damn thing. Chastain was probably the fastest or second fastest on the track but the multiple restarts made it difficult for him to make that final pass. Chastain could continue the momentum next week and then in two weeks at COTA. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
