Ross Stripling Has Been A Hidden Gem
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling's first start in July did not go well. He gave up seven hits, four runs and a walk in in only 4 2/3 innings pitched against the Oakland Athletics. In April and May, Stripling was used as a relief pitcher. After a couple of months of good starts, he finally earned that last starting rotation spot. In June he was electric. He finished with a 1.59 ERA and a 4-1 record. It was only one bad start, so fantasy managers should not freak out. Expect him to bounce back in his next start.
