4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling fired five innings of one-run ball as his club went on to beat the Indians 4-1 in Sunday's first game of a doubleheader. The right-hander allowed two hits and a walk while striking out three, throwing just 67 pitches before manager Charlie Montoya went to the bullpen early in the seven-inning contest. Stripling has put together back-to-back excellent outings now which makes him someone to keep on your watchlist with the plethora of injuries around baseball this year. He will face the Astros at home in Buffalo next weekend in what will be a more true test of his ability.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
