Ross Stripling Lands On 10-Day IL
5 years agoLos Angeles pitcher Ross Stripling exited his start early on Wednesday after experiencing stiffness in his neck but now hits the IL with right bicep tendonitis, retroactive to July 24. Manager Dave Roberts says he looks for him to miss one or two starts, and that the initial neck stiffness possibly compromised Stripling's delivery, leading to his issues with the bicep. With Stripling on the shelf, it will likely fall to Julio Urias to replace him. Urias has been dominant since the beginning of June, with a 0.37 ERA and 25% K-rate in his last 11 appearances, spanning 24 1/3 innings.
