3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling lasted just 3 2/3 IP on Saturday as his club fell to the Rays 5-2. The right-hander allowed just four hits, but three of them found the bleachers as he finished his afternoon with four runs allowed to drop his record to 3-5 on the year. Stripling walked two and struck out five in the brief outing which marked the first time he's allowed more than two runs in a game since June 11. Chalk it up as a bad day for the 31-year-old who has been a lot sharper lately than his 4.34 ERA and 1.23 WHIP suggest as we approach the All-Star break.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
