Ross Stripling Set To Start Game No. 2
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ross Stripling allowed one run and three hits over three innings with a walk and no strikeouts in his latest appearance over the weekend against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It was his final tune-up before taking the ball from manager Dave Roberts for the second game of the season Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Stripling was 8-6 with a 3.02 ERA last season across 21 starts and 33 relief appearances, but he was 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA in seven appearances and two starts against the D-Backs. The Snakes also hit a robust .346 against him. It could be a bumpy start for Stripling against a familiar foe.
