2 years agoToronto Blue Jays right-hander Ross Stripling (hip) threw a bullpen session on Sunday. Provided he continues to show improvement, Stripling is next slated to throw either live batting practice or head off to a rehab assignment. The 32-year-old hurler landed on the injured list on August 3 after he strained his right hip following a July 30. Stripling has made 23 appearances for Toronto in 2022, posting a 5-3 record, 3.16 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 67 strikeouts over 82 2/3 innings of work. It looks like he could be back with the Blue Jays in the next week or two if all goes according to plan.--Matt T - RotoBaller
