6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Ross Stripling will start Friday on regular rest and that Alex Wood (hamstring) will start Saturday after an extra day of rest in the Giants series, per Dodgers beat writer Bill Plunkett. Roberts did not announce Sunday's starter but said that Caleb Ferguson is a possibility. Stripling has been fantastic this season and should be started by fantasy owners. However, fantasy owners may want to consider sitting Wood, who has been day-to-day with hamstring discomfort and has to face a Giants team that has been hitting well in June (.268/.330/.444 slash line). Ferguson has posted an inflated 9.53 ERA in just 5 2/3 innings pitched for the Dodgers, so he should be avoided by fantasy players except in dynasty leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
