Rougned Odor Homers Twice In Victory
5 years agoTexas Ranger Rougned Odor hit his 14th and 15th home runs of the year on Tuesday night, in a 7-2 victory over the Mariners, with the two blasts giving him three homers in the past two games. The notoriously streaky second baseman, who once punched Jose Bautista square in the face, is enjoying his best month of the year thus far, with seven home runs, 18 RBI, and 16 runs scored since July 1st. Also since July 1st, Odor has a 41.9% K-rate and 1.6% walk-rate, as he turns more and more into a true two-outcome player. The Rangers play the rubber game in the series on Wednesday afternoon, facing Mike Leake, against whom Odor is a lifetime 19-39, with two home runs and a 1.053 OPS.
