4 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman Rougned Odor (knee) will have an MRI on his injured knee Wednesday. Odor suffered the injury while attempting to score during Tuesday's game against the Astros, as he collided with catcher Martin Maldonado. Manager Aaron Boone said that "he didn't want to speculate, but the Yankees are hopeful that Odor has avoided a serious injury." The former Ranger is batting just .164 but has slugged four homers and has 11 RBI, many of them coming at big times for the Bronx Bombers. More word should be available on the status of Odor's knee tomorrow following the MRI.--Tim Capurso
