Rowdy Tellez Back Against Pirates
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez (knee) is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Zach Thompson, serving as the designated hitter and batting third in the lineup. Tellez sat out of the game on Tuesday, but he'll be back in there for fantasy managers on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has been a great source of power this year, as he's batting .231/.323/.477 with an .801 OPS, a career-high 27 home runs, 75 RBI, 51 runs scored and one stolen base in 415 at-bats for the Brew Crew. He hasn't been as good in the month of August, though, going 17-for-75 (.227), but he does have seven home runs, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored in 24 games played.
