3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers designated hitter Rowdy Tellez came off the bench and smashed a pinch-hit, two-run home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over Pittsburgh. Tellez hit for Milwaukee reliever Brad Boxberger in the sixth inning and sent a Chris Stratton offering over the right-field wall to give the Brewers a 5-0 lead. It was the 10th homer of the year for Tellez, six of which have come with Milwaukee. The 26-year-old is hitting .333/.407/.613 in 86 plate appearances since being acquired from Toronto. He's gone through hot streaks like this in the past for the Blue Jays but it remains to be seen whether Tellez can remain productive over a longer period of time.--James Stokke
