3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez exited Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs in the top of the sixth inning with right knee discomfort, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. The severity of the injury is not known at this point. Before his injury, he was 1-for-1 with a single and a run scored. Tellez was traded to the Brewers from the Toronto Blue Jays on July 6 and has been a cog in the lineup since, slashing .329/.407/.586 with five home runs during 26 games. Altogether, he has hit .249 with a .421 slugging, nine home runs, 26 RBI, and 23 runs split between the Blue Jays and Brewers. He has become a good waiver wire option for fantasy teams needing a first baseman, but an injury would certainly hurt his value. Stay tuned for more information.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
