6 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Rowdy Tellez was 3-for-4 with three doubles and an RBI in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Cleveland Indians. After doubling in his major league debut on Wednesday, Thursday's performance actually set an MLB record as Tellez became the first player in the live-ball era (since 1920) to ever record an extra-base hit in each of their first three at-bats. Tellez has a .270 average with 50 RBI and 13 homers through 112 games at Triple-A Buffalo this season, but he is not someone fantasy managers should be clamoring to own. He should remain on the waiver wire until he proves he is the real deal.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
