4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Rowdy Tellez launched his second homer of the season during the team's 7-4 loss to the Astros on Sunday. His solo shot in the fifth came off Astros starter Zack Greinke as he finished the day going 2-for-4. Tellez was sent to the team's alternate site after a slow start at the end of April, but was brought back up when George Springer landed back on the shelf earlier this week. The slugger is a streaky hitter, but if you can time it right he can be a valuable asset in all formats. Tellez should receive the lion's share of starts versus righties, but the team will lose the DH for a three-game set in Atlanta this week, so there's no need to scoop him up yet.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
