2 years agoThe Kansas City Royals will be without 10 players for their four-game series in Toronto against the Blue Jays, which begins on Thursday. Canada requires a COVID-19 vaccination to enter the country. The list of players the Royals will be without includes second baseman Whit Merrifield, first baseman Hunter Dozier, outfielders Michael Taylor, Andrew Benintendi and Kyle Isbel, catchers Cam Gallagher and MJ Melendez and right-handers Brad Keller, Brady Singer and Dylan Coleman. Merrifield, Dozier, Benintendi, Isbel and Melendez have been everyday players for KC, although Merrifield isn't expected to return until after the All-Star break due to a bone bruise in his big right toe. Keller and Singer are starting pitchers. After Wednesday's game, fantasy managers won't be able to use any of these Royals players until the second half of the season kicks off on July 22.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
