3 years agoThe Kansas City Royals are unlikely to trade away any of their key players prior to Friday's trade deadline, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com. General Manager Dayton Moore said that the team is building for 2022, and that he does not expect the Royals to trade away any of the key contributors for next year unless they are overwhelmed by an offer. Moore added that the team's primary focus currently is on the free agent market after this season. With that in mind, managers should anticipate all of the big Royals players to remain in Kansas City, but obviously things can change between now and Friday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
