6 years agoDenver Broncos running back Royce Freeman (ankle) suffered a sprained ankle late in the 45-10 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night and could miss some time. Freeman had 13 carries in the blowout win but only recorded 37 yards (2.8 yards per carry), although he did have his fourth rushing touchdown of the season. The impressive rookie has now had two straight games of rushing for less than 3.0 yards a tote, and fellow rookie Phillip Lindsay continues to outshine him. If Freeman is forced to miss Week 8 against the Chiefs, Lindsay would be in play as a strong RB2 with Devontae Booker spelling him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
